Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side view mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your 2013-2014 Toyota Tacoma with the regular cab, double cab, and access cab. That will also work on your 2015 Tacoma with the double cab and access cab. This is modeled after your Tacoma's original look and fit.

So you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror should look like it came with your Tacoma right from the factory. So you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look it should all look very integrated and seamless for you. And because it has the same footprint as the original you're not going to have to worry about drilling new holes or anything like that. It's going to be very simple to install just unplug your original mirror, get that back out and removed and put this one in its place. And it will just be very simple to do no sense in having someone else do it for you.

That plug is going to provide us with the power remote capability so we can adjust the mirror face position with the controls inside of our vehicle. It's also going to control that Amber light on the back there. So we can have our turn signal activating that this is gonna be an OEM grade mirror. So it's gonna be the same quality materials as the original mirror. The front of the glass is plated with reflective Chrome.

So it's gonna give us a nice clear image so we can see what's coming up behind us or as we're changing lanes make sure that we're gonna be safe. It is a flat glass. So it's gonna give you a true representation of the objects behind you. Not gonna have to worry about any warping or anything like that. It's not gonna give you the wide angle view, like a towing mirror would just your standard flat class mirror.

It does have a breakaway design to it. So if you we're to bump into a parking post or the side of your garage, or something like that as you're pulling in, it is gonna fold in on itself to try and help absorb some of that impact reduce the amount of damage to the mirror itself but it is gonna be a nice, durable textured black housing with this Chrome finish on the backside there. So if your current mirror has that this is gonna be a really easy integration to switch out for that original. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for you this is going to be a replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if when you pull off your original mirror, you see that number or you're going through your owner's manual. That number pops up. You can tell that this is gonna be the mirror that you need and this is just the driver's side. If you also need the passenger side we also have that available here at etrailer.com. So overall, I think this is gonna be a great option for you to get you a complete again if your driver's side mirror has been damaged this is going to be a very simple installation to get you back on the road so that you can be safe knowing what's going on around you and look a hole as well.
